-paint and brush or sponge Cheap make sponge wedges are perfect for dabbing paint onto the small pieces. Small inexpensive brushes work great for any of the smaller pieces with detail as well. -an adhesive to attach pieces something that sets up quickly is best like Elmer’s wood glue or Gorilla Glue gel.(I personally use wood glue and apply it to the back of the cutouts with a makeup sponge or paint brush)
